State Necklace BOGO Free at Cents of Style

If you're looking for a nice piece of jewlry for yourself or as a holiday present for someone else, then check out these State Necklaces from Cents of Styles. They are currently part of a Buy One Get One Free deal. Just use the coupon code STATEOFMIND during check out.

These necklaces are really beautifully designed. The state is done in a silver outline with a "brusged gold" heart charm in the middle. It is very elegant and pretty. It is also a nice way to show some love and pride for your state!

The email I received lists the price as $19.99 but the website lists the price for one necklace as $24.95. I'm not sure what the actual price so just be aware of that. The price might change with the coupon or it might not.

If this is your first time purchasing from Cents of Style, make sure to grab a free pair of earrings. Cents of Style offers one pair of selected free earrings on your first purchase.

Stop & Shop Freebie and Deals for Week of 11/6/2015

If you signed up to receive emails from Stop & Shop then you might have gotten a freebie offer for any one World Menu frozen product. It can be any size too! I don't usually buy frozen entrees or meals but since this is free I'm going to have to check it out myself.

Stop & Shop also has some great deals on Progresso Soup, orange juice and more.

There's a $1.00 off of 2 Progresso soup coupon that can be loaded to your Stop & Shop card and combined with a $1.00 off on 3 Progresso products coupon.

While the Simply Orange Juice is on sale as two for $6.00, this is not as good as it usually is. Usually, this orange juice brand is on sale for two for $5.00. I would personally hold off on buying orange juice from Stop & Shop this week.

A new Big G Cereals coupon is avaliable. Save 0.75c on any one box of Star Wars cereal. This can be combined with the Stop & Shop offer of save 0.75c off any two General Mills Big G cereal that are 8 oz. or larger.

Grocery Gift Card Challenge

Last month I picked up a cheap $10 LG Sunrise android phone from Walmart to use for PertTV and Swagbucks. So far it has made things much easier. I just wanted a cheap phone with just internet connection so that I could move the apps from my personal phone.

But researching and using these apps has given me an idea. I want to use these apps to buy my groceries. Both Perk and Swagbucks offers Walmart and Target gift cards. Swagbucks also offers Visa cards which can also be brought at Walmart.

The nice thing about a prepaid Visa card is that you can send it to yourself through PayPal for cash. Of course there is a small fee taken out but it is still a better option for getting cash from Perk. While Perk does offer a direct PayPal transfer, it costs more points than a gift card or using a Walmart gift card to purchase a prepaid Visa card. Really though, it just comes down to personal preference.

Swagbucks on the other hand does not charge more for PayPal. However, they do offer a slight discount on your first $25 gift card redeemed each month.

I plan on taking advantage of Swagbucks discount. I will be getting a $25 Walmart gift card then just collecting cash through PayPal for the rest of the month. Next month I hope to either get a Target gift card or something else for a holiday present for someone else.

Both Walmart and Target gift cards are refillable so I plan to just continue to fill them up with $5 gift cards from Perk throughout the month. Luckily I'm on a diet and only have to buy food for myself so my grocery costs are pretty low already.

So, that's my plan to use gift cards to buy my groceries. We'll see how it goes for this month. It should help at least.

I already have one $5 Walmart gift card and one $5 Target gift card. I should have enough SB for the $25 Walmart gift card from Swagbucks this week. Good because I need some more beans and bananas.

Planning for CVS Week of Oct. 11

With 5EB (Extracare Bucks) expiring on the 20th of this month, I'm looking for great deals at CVS that not only save me money but give me 5EB back. Basically, after investing a little bit of money into CVS, I want to try and get it so that I pay for everything with just my EBs. It is difficult but hopefully not impossible.

Gold Emblem Deals

Currently, some CVS stores have Gold Emblem snack and grocery items on sale for a $1.00. If you use the Save $2 and Save $1 coupons from CVS then you can get these items for free! Not only that but this deal can be turned into a moneymaker with a 0.20 cents rebate from ibotta!

For me, my local CVS is having a 10/$10 deal on Gold Emblem products and other grocery items next week. Unfortunately, I cannot see all of the specific items online right now but this seems like it could be a great deal. CVS also has two more Gold Emblem coupons: Save $1 off trail mix, cereal bar or nuts, and Save $2 off any two nut, nut blends or trail mix items.

Not all nuts are a part of this sale though. Pistachios are $10 and give back 2EB. The Roasted or Party Peanuts will be $4 and give back 1EB. It might be possible to use the two new coupons on the party peanut deal making it cost only $1 and with the 1EB that it gives back, this item could be potentially free.  (-$3 from the coupons and -$1 from the EB you get back).

There is also a 2/$5 deal on selected cookies, crackers, trail mix or pretzels that gives back 1EB. With the two trail mix coupons, you could possibly get two bags of trail mix for $1 (-$3 from the coupons and -$1 from the 1EB you get back).

I actually have 1 $1EB print out that means I could possibly pay nothing upfront on the two deals above. (I have $6 worth of EB total at the moment, just so you know).

If you still have the Save $1 coupon on any grocery or beverage items, spices are on sale 2/$3. The coupon would make each spice $1. Spices include vanilla extract. They also give back 1EB.

Other Deals

There will be another chance to grab three bags of Halloween candy for $6. An instant $3 coupon will print giving you $3 off if you buy three bags of Kit Kat or Reese's candy. This is great because we've eaten some of the Halloween candy in this house already.

Dawn Dishwashing Soap and Scott Single Roll toilet paper are both on sale for 0.99 cents. There is also an app-only 0.25 cents savings deal making one of these items 0.74 cents. For dish soap, the Ajaxx deal is still better though unless you can use another 0.25 cents off manufacturer's coupon which would make the Dawn dish soap 0.49 cents. But I have a feeling that it might not work if the app-only coupon is a manufacturer's coupon s well.

Purex is on same 2/$5 and ibotta is offering a $1.25 rebate deal on one Purex. This would make one bottle of laundry detergent $1.25.

Finally, check your email because I just got a 20% Off coupon from CVS.

My Shopping Plans
  • Halloween Candy $6
  • Gold Emblem Popcorn/Grocery moneymaker deal
  • Gold Emblem trail mix or peanut deal (Free or $1)
  • 1 Purex bottle ($1.25)

EB Get Back: 1EB

Free Chicken of the Sea Salmon Pouch

Chicken of the Sea is offering an amazing deal. Use this coupon in order to get one 2.5oz Chicken of the Sea Salmon Pouch for free! The coupon expires 11/7/2015 so make sure to use it by the first week of November.

This Salmon Pouch is great for tuna salad, as a topping for a Caesar salad or in a sandwich. Though I suppose you can also just eat it straight from the pouch. I also like putting tuna fish on crackers as a snack, but opening up a whole can just for a few crackers is so wasteful. Tuna and salmon fish pouches like this one are actually perfect for a little fish & crackers snack.
